Prudence for The Simple
Good Afternoon and welcome to another educational and spiritually driven article inside The Book of Alexander. It is Wednesday, September 7, 2022. In today’s topic, I seek to capture the heart of my readers and gather together the flock scattered abroad. As it was instructed within the riddles of a king named Solomon to give prudence to the simple man, and to the younger generation knowledge and discretion, so I hope to achieve this order given to me.
If one seeks to draw close to the LORD, you might first seek to become as a child is. These words, although not exact, were spoken to adult students who followed one of the greatest teachers that ever walked the earth thousands of years ago. He was suggesting that one unlearn all that he or she has learned from the world, and relearn a new way with teachings from above. In other words, reprogramming the mind. In some of my previous articles, I focus on a mindful topic in regards to the human brain and how important it is to protect it. In continuation to the facts given, reprogramming the way you think might not be the easiest task one you’ve reached a certain age, but thanks to the riddles I mentioned earlier in my introduction, this could bypass the struggle for those who are a little more advanced in years.
The Book of Proverbs is a short book located in the old testament that consists of only 31 chapters. It’s simply a list of rules or guidelines that teach us how to live and things to watch out for. It is in my opinion one of the best defense system in the world today that can keep you from making regretful decisions that lead to a life of depression, sickness, poverty and even death.
When I first read this ancient and now English translated text, I took it upon myself to read one chapter for everyday of the month. This is practiced by a variety of readers. At first, it didn’t seem to have much of an effect . I would read my daily chapter and go on about my daily routine. Then one day something happened. I was confronted with a challenge; a situation that my daily chapter capitalized on and I was left to make a decision. One would either follow the instruction given to him or follow his own way. Sadly, I failed and shortly after regretted it with real world consequences.
Even so, I continued reading chapter to chapter; starting over from month to month and over time, began to see things more clearly. I was able to see trouble before it happened. I was able to avoid certain situations on days that I meditated and remembered what I had read. Its value increased becoming like treasure to me. To become wise and to understand made me feel superior and still does as I continue reading it today. There is another truth that comes with knowledge. Opposites attract, therefore, as your light begins to shine on those around you, it attracts opposite and offensive energies that become stronger as you also become stronger in righteousness. This is what leads to what The Bible refers to as “Temptation”.
This doctrine that comes from The Book of Proverbs is your training before you go into a boxing match. It is your rehearsal before you perform on stage. It is your preparation to take on whatever necessary to succeed in the presence of God, who sits in the front row watching while his crowd of angels and saints cheer you on to victory, a good showing and life without pain, suffering, sadness, hunger or thirst. Win this match. It will not be easy, but if you give it everything you have, God will not fail you.
“Trust in the LORD with all you heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct you paths.” -Proverbs Chapter 3 V 5&6
That being said, I have a theory that keeping an article short keeps readers from losing interest. So, I’ll have more for you in the future. Again, I thank you for your time. My name is Alexander Garza and I pray for each of you constantly. Stay Blessed.
