A Spiritual Philosophy
You couldn’t imagine how many people have asked me that same question all spiritual and God-believers receive; the question that tries to discredit and disqualify our continuous effort to be as perfect as we can be in order to qualify for the position of saving others: Why me? If God was real, then why this or why that? So, I decided to expose my answer of truth in regards to the many questions asked and to those who have lost hope.
Because you are beautiful, bright, smart, interesting and made in the image of God, evil is in a strange way obsessed with you and because of its’ hate and jealousy towards God our creator, it is willing to offer you anything your flesh desires to have you. There are so many people who sell themselves short early in life; selling themselves for a loaf of bread. There are others who make evil work for it because they know their worth; these are some of the people who sold themselves for riches and fame. At first, for all who feed into this deceiving bait, you feel as if you are on your way to complete happiness, but no matter how much the world gives you, that missing piece or missing peace inside of you is still empty. Many years down the line, you are going to ask yourself, what did I do with my life? The devil takes the best and brightest of us all and causes a great fall among men.
This is why the bible talks about separating your desires from the world, and setting your desires on life after death, because everything in the world passes, just as we humans are only here for a short time. What good is it to receive everything in the world, and lose your own soul?
But here’s The Good News: The LORD rejoices when the darkest and hardest hearts turn to him in repentance. Just as the devil chooses the most brightest to fall, the LORD will convert the darkest to turn to light, just as he did one of my brothers named Paul who saved many lives.
If you believe you have come too far and it’s too late, you are wrong. This is why the last will be first and the first will be last. I’ll explain.
Picture a number of people standing in a lunch line. Some of the people are well fed, others are dependent on that lunch line. So it happens, those who are well fed are in no rush to enter the line, but the hungry rush towards the front. In the same way it will be to enter the kingdom of heaven. The hungry, those who have committed there life to the LORD will be last, and those who were well fed, will rush towards the front of the line. Blessed is he who reads and understand.
When we submit to God, you wouldn’t believe what things will take place in your life, but there is a very important factor that you should ask yourself when turning to God and before entering your new life. Am I serving God because I know that he is right and I am wrong? Do I serve God for reward or because I am undeserving and incapable of ruling my own life? Humble yourself before the LORD and get rid of pride. It’s okay to be confident just as our LORD is confident. So put your confidence in the LORD and put away pride. By doing so, you will make the heart of the LORD glad and he will silence those who have shamed and mocked him. Don’t be afraid of those who talk big and use loud vehicles, weaponry, and destructive words to scare you. Fear only God who has the ability to destroy and rebuild anything that he pleases. As it was written, nothing formed against you will overcome you. A thousand may fall at your side, but not one hair off of your head will fall. In order to reach The Power Position, you have to put God first.
